“JACKSON” NAMED PET OF THE WEEK
The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Jackson” as its Pet of the Week.
Jackson is a Black Mouth Cur mix, about 10 to 12 months old. Brenham Animal Services staff say he is a very loving boy who thinks he is a lap dog, even though he is much too big for that.
Staff say Jackson is neutered, walks very well on a leash, and would make a great running buddy or farm dog.
The Brenham Pet Adoption Center remains closed to visitors, but anyone interested in adopting or fostering a pet can still see the shelter’s available pets online by visiting www.petfinder.com. They can also make appointments to meet a pet by calling 979-337-7351, or by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page. Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
