A’S FOR GAME-4 IN ALDS WITH WIN OVER ASTROS
The Astros will get a second opportunity to close out the ALDS, when they face the A’s Thursday afternoon in Game-4.
Oakland staved off elimination with a 9-7 win, Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles.
Houston took a 7-4 lead with a 5-run fifth inning. However, Oakland rallied for three runs in the seventh and two more in the eighth to keep their season alive.
Brook Raley took the loss for Houston, while Josh James gave up three runs in relief. Jose Altuve and Aledmys Diaz each homered.
First pitch for game-4 is set for 2:35, Thursday afternoon on AM-1280 KWHI and FM 101.7.
