WINEDALE VIRTUAL PRESENTATION TO DISCUSS AUSTIN’S OLD 300

  

The public is invited to join a virtual discussion Tuesday on the history of the original settlers in Texas.

The presentation, hosted by the Winedale Historical Complex in Round Top, will be held at noon and will cover Austin’s Old 300.

Discussion will be led by Dr. Paul Spellman, professor of history at Wharton County Junior College in Richmond.  Dr. Spellman will go over the history of the first American families that settled in Texas in the early 1820s.
