Next week, Brenham ISD will honor its school counselors as part of National School Counseling Week.

“School Counselors: All in for All Students” will be celebrated February 1-5 to bring attention to the contributions of school counselors within the district and how students are different as a result of what counselors do.  The week highlights the impact counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.

The district will be participating in the week’s festivities by highlighting its ten school counselors through its social media platforms.

Brenham ISD’s campus counselors are:

  • Brenda Ritter – Alton Elementary School
  • Misti Davis – Brenham Elementary School
  • Roseann Mueller – Krause Elementary School
  • Julie Haferkamp – Brenham Middle School
  • Christina Johnson Snow – Brenham Junior High School
  • Virginia Altman – Brenham Junior High School
  • Kelley Lowes – Brenham High School
  • Fon’shall Watts – Brenham High School
  • Michelle Vacante – Brenham High School
  • Sharon Jones – Brenham High School

Parents or community members with specific questions or concerns regarding school counseling programs should contact a campus counselor or visit www.brenhamisd.net.
