BURTON HIRES NEW CITY SECRETARY
The City of Burton has hired a new city secretary.
Adrian Cepeda was named to the position on January 12th, and has been training under current City Secretary Angela Harrington since January 5th. Harrington will continue to train her through the end of March.
Originally from the Sugar Land-Missouri City area, Cepeda has lived in Washington County for the past 14 years.
Cepeda says the new position is a lot to learn, but is enjoying it so far and looks forward to serving Burton citizens.
Harrington, who had served in the city secretary position for five years, will continue to serve as Burton’s municipal court judge.
