A Brenham High School student has been seriously injured in an accident.

Collin Smith, a member of the Brenham Anglers bass fishing team, was reportedly walking back to his vehicle after fishing, Thursday night.

According to Facebook, Smith was struck in the head by something on a passing vehicle.  He was reportedly lifeflighted to an area hospital where he has undergone surgery.

Collin is a senior at Brenham High School.
