FOUR ARRESTED FOR BRYAN ARMED ROBBERIES

  

A Hempstead man is one of four suspects arrested for a pair of robberies in Bryan this weekend.

According to police, the two armed robberies occurred about an hour apart, just after midnight Saturday.  In both cases, phones and cash were taken.

Authorities were able to utilize the ‘Locate My iPhone’ app on one of the phones to locate the suspects, who were on Highway 6 in Waller County.

A short time later the suspects were apprehended by DPS, Waller Co. Sheriff’s deputies and Hempstead Police.

Arrested were: 20-year old Thomas Watkins of Hempstead, 19-year old Brian Andrews of Spring, 19-year old Tariq Carter of Houston and a juvenile.

The three adults were each charged with three counts of Aggravated Robbery and bonds were set for $150,000 each.  Charges against the juvenile were not listed.
