AUSTIN CO. TO HOST BEEF CATTLE SEMINAR

  

 

Austin County’s Beef & Forage Committee and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office have scheduled a Beef Cattle Management Seminar.

The program is scheduled for Friday, March 26, at Four County Auction Center on Highway 159, in Industry.

Among the topics to be discussed are utilization of drones for pasture management; importance of soil fertility in growing forages; and herd health management.

The presenters will include Dr. Megan Clayton, Dr. Joe Paschal, and Dr. Tony Provin all with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

The cost of the program is $20 per person, and will be offered in person and virtually.  Anyone interested need to RSVP to the Austin County Extension office or online at Austin.agrilife.org to reserve a seat.

Program Registration will begin at 12:30pm with the first presentation beginning at 1pm.
