CUB BOWLING CLINCHES DISTRICT TITLE
The Brenham Cub bowling team clinched the Bluebonnet district championship defeating Burton 15-0.
A number of matches went right to the final frame. In the three closest matches Campbell Groves (Brenham) defeated Jeremy Quinton (Burton) 355-341, John Val Klein (Brenham) defeated Tristin Alexander (Burton) 301-294, and Reece Knebel (Brenham) defeated Xavier Morgan (Burton) 358-326.
Brenham now advances to Regionals in Conroe March 28th and 29th. The individual qualifiers have still yet to be decided.
Next Tuesday and Wednesday Burton and Bellville square off at Rose Bowl Lanes to determine which Girls’ team will represent the Bluebonnet district at Regionals.
