Ben Bosse (Mark Whitehead)

Ben Bosse was overpowering as the Brenham Cubs downed the Huntsville Hornets, 7-2 in a non-district matchup at Firemen’s Park.

The Hornets were a last-minute substitute for Houston Episcopal, who notified the Cubs earlier in the day of COVID concerns.

Bosse struck out 16 batters, while yielding just two hits in six scoreless innings.
