TEXAS BIRTHDAY BASH THIS WEEKEND IN DOWNTOWN NAVASOTA
Downtown Navasota is celebrating the 185th birthday of Texas this weekend at the 9th Annual Texas Birthday Bash.
The celebration gets underway this (Friday) evening with gates opening at 5 p.m., leading up to performances from Jamie Weston, Vital, Michael Salgado and Roger Creager. The entertainment continues tomorrow (Saturday) after gates open at 1 p.m., featuring Carson Jeffery, Wynn Williams, Jon Stork, George Strait tribute artist Derek Spence, Sundance Head, and Tracy Lawrence.
Madison Brooks, Marketing and Communications Coordinator with the City of Navasota, says there will be plenty of activities to look forward to aside from the music.
