DRUG CHARGES FOR BRENHAM MAN AFTER SHOTS FIRED CALL

A report of gun shots led to a drug arrest late Wednesday night for a Brenham man.
Brenham police were called out to the 800 block of Hosea Street just after 11 p.m. in reference to possible gun shots being fired. Police say the caller advised they heard two gun shots in the area.
Later, officers made contact with 31-year-old Draylen Deshaun Williams of Brenham, who they say admitted to having narcotics on his person.
Williams was taken into custody for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and a warrant out of Brazos County for Possession of Marijuana.
Police are working to determine whether any shots were fired.
