TWO ARRESTED ON VARIOUS LOCAL CHARGES

Two Katy residents were taken into custody during a traffic stop in Brenham, Friday night.
Just before 9:00 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle in the 3100 block of North Park Street.

The driver, 22-year-old Andra Smith of Katy, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon and Wrong, Fictitious, Altered, or Obscured License Plate.
A passenger, 19-year-old Andria Jones, also of Katy, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Both were taken to the Washington County Jail.
