COME-AND-GO CELEBRATION FOR WASHINGTON CO. E-911 THURSDAY
The public is invited to celebrate 30 years of 911 and emergency dispatch services in Washington County tomorrow (Thursday).
A come-and-go celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 911 dispatch center at 301 North Baylor Street in Brenham, in celebration of Washington County E-911’s 30th anniversary.
A light lunch and cake will be served, and a short program will be held starting at 11 a.m. Guests can also meet E-911’s mascots – Cell Phone Sally and Josh – as well as 911 call takers.
At their meeting March 16th, Washington County Commissioners approved a proclamation recognizing April 3rd as the 30th anniversary of E-911 in the county.
