AUSTIN COUNTY MAN ARRESTED ON DWI CHARGE

An Austin County man faces a DWI charge after his arrest late Thursday night in Brenham.
Police pulled over a vehicle just after 11:30 p.m. in the 100 block of US 290 West.
Police found an open alcoholic container in the vehicle. 42-year-old Neil Douglas David of Cat Springs was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated—Third or More and for Possession of Alcoholic Beverage in Motor Vehicle.
David was transported to the Washington County Jail.
