TWO CHARGED WITH MARIJUANA POSSESSION FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOPS
Two people face charges after their arrests for marijuana possession, Thursday.
Just after 7:00 p.m., 23-year-old Alvaro Palma of Houston was pulled over in the 1800 block of US Highway 290 West.
Following an investigation, Palma was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Then, just before 11:00 p.m., authorities pulled over 31-year-old Sergio Torres of Houston was pulled over in the 300 block of 290 East.
Torres was found in possession of marijuana.
He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
