FIVE SENTENCED IN LOCAL DISTRICT COURT

  

 

A Brenham man has been sentenced to prison time in the latest edition of the Washington County District Court.

38-year-old Ronald Gene Koch, of Brenham, pleaded guilty to two counts of Possession of Controlled Substance.  The charges were enhanced to Second Degree felonies due to previous criminal history.

He was sentenced to nine years in prison and fined $180 dollars on each of the two charges.

Also sentenced were:

31-year-old Eric James Vanhowten of Montgomery was sentenced to four years in prison on each of two counts of Assault of a Family Member.  Vanhowten was also fine $493 and had to pay as $100 family violence fee.

62-year-old, David Richard Darby of Porter was sentenced to 276 days in jail for Unauthorized Use of Vehicle – a State Jail Felony.

32-year-old Presley Ann Warren of Brenham, placed on four years’ probation for Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Under 15 Years of Age.

Warren was also fined $1000, ordered to attend a DWI education program and five days in the Washington County Jail as a condition of probation.

39-year-old Franklin Lee Parrish of Brenham, was sentenced to 156 days in the Washington County Jail, for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
