TWO ARRESTED ON D.W.I. CHARGES

Two people face charges of Driving While Intoxicated after their arrests over the weekend.
Friday night, just before 9:30, local police responded to a report of a reckless driving in the area of State Highway 36 North and North Dixie Street.
The vehicle was located near the 2500 block of US Highway 290 West.
The driver, 44-year-old Eustorgio Perez, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated—3rd or More Offense.
He was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Sunday afternoon, shortly before 7:00 p.m., police initiated a traffic stop near the 300 block of North Market Street.
The driver, 69-year-old Julie Hollis of Brenham, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated-2nd Offense.
She was transported to the Washington County Jail.
