BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED ON WARRANTS

  

Brenham police arrested a local woman on several warrants Monday.

40-year-old Jo-Shanna Bhana Jackson was arrested after police stopped the vehicle she was driving in the 500 block of Highway 290 West for a moving violation.

After conducting a standard wanted person check, Jackson was found to have three warrants for her arrest.

Jackson was taken into custody for a Washington County District Court warrant for Unlawful Restraint of a Child under 17 years of age, a state jail felony, as well as two Brenham Municipal Court warrants for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, both Class C misdemeanors.

Jackson was transported to the Washington County Jail.
