‘CALLA’ NAMED PET OF THE DAY

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Calla” as its Pet of the Day.

Calla is a domestic shorthair cat, about 1 to 2 years old.  Brenham Animal Services says she is a quiet, well-behaved cat with a sweet, friendly disposition.  She is not a lap cat, but is very friendly and trusting once she has adjusted to her new home.

Staff say Calla needs to live indoors, and would do best in a calm, orderly household with no rowdy children or dogs.  She does get along well with other cats.

Anyone who is interested in a new companion can see pets available to adopt or foster at www.petfinder.com.  Appointments to meet a pet can be made by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page, or by calling 979-337-7351.  The shelter is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
