GAS PRICES DOWN SLIGHTLY THIS WEEK
The price of a gallon of unleaded regular gas in Texas is slightly more than a week ago.
The price of a gallon state-wide is $2.76 per gallon, one-cent higher than last week, and 94 cents more than a year ago.
Locally, the average price of a gallon of gas in Brenham is at $2.72, with a low of $2.55 and a high of $2.91.
Of the major metropolitan area of Texas, the highest price per gallon is in El Paso at $3.10, while drivers in Amarillo are paying the lowest price of $2.64.
The national average is $3.07 per gallon, the same as last week, and 97 cents more than last year.
