NO WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS MEETING TUESDAY

  

Washington County Commissioners will not hold a meeting on Tuesday due to the lack of a quorum.

Several members of the court will be in South Padre Island from Monday through Thursday, attending the South Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association’s annual conference.

During the conference, commissioners will attain continuing education hours and attend sessions covering topics like grants, roads, budgets and the most recent legislature.

Commissioners will also visit with officials from other counties, hear from motivational speakers and elect the association’s 2021-22 officers.
