FIRST BAPTIST STUDENT TO TAKE PART IN ENVISION’S JUNIOR NATIONAL YOUNG LEADERS CONFERENCE
A Brenham elementary student has been chosen for a prestigious honor.
Jeremy Bedrich, of First Baptist Church School in Brenham, will join outstanding elementary school students from across the nation to take part in The Junior National Young Leader’s Conference in Washington D.C.
The Junior Young Leader’s Conference, a unique academic and career-oriented development experience, enables students an opportunity to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.
Jeremy was nominated by one of his teachers at First Baptist, Bobbi Jo Supak.
Jeremy is described as passionate about reading and has a love of sports. School officials say he is most looking forward to learning more about leadership and how to be a voice of change.
At the Junior Young Leader’s Conference, students build the confidence and skills needed to excel in junior high, high school, college, and the workplace. They learn how to adapt to and communicate in new situations, to new challenges, and with new people, which, given how rapidly the world is changing due to technology and innovation, are essential skills for success.
