GROUP READS THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE FRIDAY

  

A small group listened to the reading of the Declaration of Independence Friday morning at the Washington County Courthouse.  Attorney Robbie Gail Charette, who organized the event, blamed the low turnout on this being the first reading since COVID.  Those reading the Declaration of Independence included Michelle Smith, Quan Jones, Quincy Adams, Patti Owens, and Robbie Gail Charette.  Charette promised that more people will attend next year’s reading.
