KELLY JURDEN NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT
Former Brenham Cubette softball standout, Kelly Jurden, has been named to the NCAA Division III Academic All-District 8 First Team.

Jurden is an outfielder and graduate student at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin.
She has a 3.97 grade point average as an undergraduate and a 4.0 GPA as a graduate student. Jurden’s undergraduate majors are mathematics and computer science, and she will pursue her master’s degree in data analytics.
This is Jurden’s third consecutive year to advance to the Academic All-American ballot. She is a two-time All-American and two-time Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
Jurden is the all-time SCAC steals leader. In 151 career games, she has stolen 169 bases in 177 attempts. Jurden has a career .432 batting average and .513 on-base percentage.
