SEALYBRATION OPENS FRIDAY AT B&PW PARK

  

A full weekend of fun kicks off tonight (Friday) in Sealy at the annual Sealybration.

Gates open at 5 p.m. for Regional Mexican Music Night, featuring activities like a carnival, the beginning of the Stars and Strikes Classic Softball Tournament, specialty booths, jackpot margarita and chef’s choice competitions and entertainment from D’kche and Los Viejones de Linares.

Tomorrow (Saturday), gates open at 7 a.m. for more softball and carnival fun, a barbecue cook-off, and a fireworks display at night.

Sealy Community Foundation President Melanie Willingham says there will even be a gator show tomorrow hosted by the Beaumont-area wildlife rescue service Gator Country.

 

Live entertainment tomorrow will feature the Step Rideaux Band, Hayden Haddock, William Beckmann, The Molly Ringwalds and a headliner performance from Tracy Lawrence.

The event wraps up on Sunday with the carnival and the conclusion of the softball tournament.
