FAYETTE CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE RECEIVES GRANTS FROM NRA FOUNDATION

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has received thousands of dollars in grant funding from the NRA Foundation and Friends of NRA.
A $3,333 grant will be used to purchase service ammunition for enhanced firearms training for deputies, reserve deputies and corrections personnel.
The Sheriff’s Office has received grants from Friends of NRA for several years. The Sheriff's Office was awarded a grant of $3,580 last year, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the formal announcement was postponed until recently.
Sheriff Keith Korenek thanked Friends of NRA for the group’s continued support.
