‘MAC’, ‘REX’ NAMED PETS OF THE WEEK

A pair of Rottweiler mix dogs are this week’s Pets of the Week at the Brenham Pet Adoption Center.
Mac and Rex both entered the shelter with their littermates and are under a year old. Both are neutered.
Brenham Animal Services says Mac is the most outgoing of the bunch and warms up easily. Staff at the shelter say he has adjusted to leash walking easily and has figured out toys. He is a relatively quiet and soft dog, but has a friendly personality.

Staff say Rex is soft-hearted, fairly quiet and a bit shy, but enjoys getting to know people. They say he is learning to figure out how to play with toys, but he has enough curiosity and energy to chase a ball or two.
