PRIVATE APPLICATOR TRAINING AUGUST 19 AT WASHINGTON CO. EXPO

Anyone seeking to obtain a state license for a limited use or restricted use pesticide can attend a Private Applicator Training next month in Brenham.

The half-day training will be held on Thursday, August 19th at the Washington County Expo Sales Facility from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Once an applicant completes the training and passes the exam for agriculture pesticide applicator licensing, they will be eligible to apply for a Private Applicator License, allowing for the purchase of all state limited use and restricted use pesticides used in agriculture.

Books and study materials for the course will need to be purchased ahead of time for $40 at the Washington County Extension Office.  A registration fee of $10 will be charged, covering the training and additional study materials.
