CSB’S CORY FLENCHER TO SERVE AS CHAIRMAN-ELECT FOR IBAT LEADERSHIP DIVISION BOARD

  

The Executive Vice President of Citizens State Bank (CSB) in Brenham has been chosen to serve as chairman-elect of the executive committee of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT) Leadership Division.

Cory Flencher was selected for the role during IBAT’s election of new board members at its quarterly board meeting in June.

Founded in 1985, the IBAT Leadership Division dedicates itself to developing future leaders in community banking.  The 450-plus-member group is divided into 13 regions, each of which hosts education and networking events for community bankers in the area throughout the year.

Flencher has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, all of it serving in various roles at CSB.  He serves as a board member for the Volunteer Services Council of the Brenham State Supported Living Center and as a commissioner for the Brenham Housing Authority.

Other executive committee members named to the IBAT Leadership Division include Chairman Justin Steinbach, senior vice president at Frost Bank in Dallas; Secretary/Treasurer Matt Crable, regional loan president/SBA manager at Texas First Bank in Pearland; and Immediate Past President Peter Smith, Lubbock market president at American Momentum Bank in Lubbock.
