BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO DISCUSS INSURANCE

  

The Burton City Council will consider several insurance items at its meeting this afternoon (Tuesday).

The council will take up action on lowering coverage and raising the deductible for law enforcement liability insurance.  It will also look to add insurance for real and personal property loss due to crime.

Also at today’s meeting, councilmembers will consider 911 addresses to be posted on the outside of every business and home in Burton.

The council will also consider closing Texas Street from Main Street to Railroad Street on October 9th from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the Toast & Smoke Fundraiser for Weeren City Park.

In addition, the council will look to make an annual payment of $2,362.50 for the city’s FASTCourt municipal court software.

The council will meet this afternoon at 5:30 p.m. at Burton City Hall.
