TABC APPLICATION CHANGES TAKE EFFECT SEPTEMBER 1
Brenham businesses seeking to obtain licenses and permits through the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) will soon need to allow for more time for their applications to be processed.
The City of Brenham announced today (Thursday) that starting September 1st, the city secretary’s certification of TABC license and permit applications will require 3-5 business days for processing.
City Secretary Jeana Bellinger said permits could be certified in a “drive by” style in the past, but due to recent legislative changes related to TABC’s fees, updates and technology, this quick turn-around is no longer possible.
