BRENHAM POLICE MAKE DWI & PUBLIC INTOXICATION ARRESTS

  

A Bellville man faces a DWI charge after his arrest by Brenham Police, Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the 200 block of South Jackson Street, shortly after 5:00.

Following a field sobriety test, 67-year-old Johnny Craig of Bellville was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.

Craig was taken to the Washington County Jail.

Friday evening, just before 8:30, police were dispatched to the 700 block of Medical Parkway in Brenham to a report of an intoxicated person.

Investigation revealed that 36-year-old Lisa Burks of Brenham was allegedly highly intoxicated in a public place.

Burks was placed in custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.
