PATRIOT DAY CELEBRATION FRIDAY IN GIDDINGS
The public is invited to a patriotic event this weekend in Giddings.
The town will play host to a Patriot Day Celebration on Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight at Firemens Park on Highway 290 West.
The evening will feature a cornhole tournament sponsored by the Lee County Fair, live and silent auctions supporting the Giddings Volunteer Fire Department, a drawing and live music from Kenny Orts and the No Chance Band.
Food and drinks will be served by the Giddings Breakfast Lions Club and other vendors throughout the evening.
