PANTHERS TO FACE 3A BRAZOS COUGARS ON THE ROAD

The Burton Panthers will try to keep rolling as they travel to Wallis for their Week-3 contest with Brazos Consolidated, Friday night.

The Panthers are 2-0 after wins over Holland (32-6) and Waco Reicher (20-3).  Brazos is 1-1 after beating Anderson-Shiro (23-8) and losing last week to Bay Area Christian (44-13).

Panther Head Coach Jason Hodde says Brazos is good team offensively and defensively, and the size of the school is something the Panthers will also have to deal with…

The Panthers will not have a game during the week of the Washington County Fair, and Coach Hodde says it’s important to play well going into the bye week…

Kickoff in Wallis is set for 7:30.
