‘DIESEL’ NAMED PET OF THE WEEK; CLEAR THE SHELTERS ON SATURDAY

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Diesel” as its Pet of the week.

Diesel is a neutered adult husky who is heartworm positive.  Brenham Animal Services says Diesel will garner lots of attention with his shiny coat, and enjoys a good squeaky toy and running around the play yard.

Potential adopters can visit with staff members to discuss heartworm treatment options for Diesel.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center will host a “Clear the Shelters” adoption event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  All adoption fees will be waived, and there will also be vendors and prizes.  Adoptions will be first come, first served.

Anyone interested in adopting or fostering a pet can go online to www.petfinder.com to see the pets available at the shelter.  Appointments can be made by calling 979-337-7351, or by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page.  The shelter is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
