The public is invited this weekend to the New Ulm Volunteer Fire Department’s 70th Annual Celebration.

The fundraiser gets underway Sunday morning at the New Ulm Firemen’s Park, rain or shine.

Barbecue beef, pork and sausage will be served dine-in and drive-thru starting at 11 a.m., while meat sales to go at the pit will start at 10 a.m.

Other attractions will include an auction at 1 p.m., drawings, a moon walk, kids’ games, a bake sale and a cake walk.

Meal tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for children 6-12.  Tea is included.

Proceeds from the event will be used for firefighting equipment and a new fire station.

Tickets can be purchased at Industry State Bank, Dudensing Farm Service or any fire department member.  They can also be purchased the day of the event.
