‘MAGGIE’ NAMED PET OF THE WEEK

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Maggie” as its Pet of the Week.

Maggie is a pit bull terrier mix about a year old.  Brenham Animal Services says she is a stocky blend of sweetness and spunk with infectious energy and a very playful disposition.

Staff members say Maggie is a quick learner and is ripe for learning many more tricks.  She is very fond of squeaky toys and sits for treats.

While “Clear the Shelters” at the Brenham Pet Adoption Center has concluded, the shelter will offer more adoption specials this weekend.  The shelter will have free adoptions on Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while “Bark in the Park” at Washington-on-the-Brazos will also offer free adoptions on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in addition to vendors and prizes.
