ONE ARRESTED THURSDAY AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

One person was arrested by Brenham Police Thursday after a traffic stop. At 8:30 PM Thursday, Patrol Officers with the Brenham Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Highway 290 West, on a pickup truck, due to an equipment violation. It was later found the driver to have an active warrant for his arrest. Suspect Juan Eduardo Avalos-Manzano (30) of Brenham was taken into custody for an active warrant out of Washington County for Bond Forfeiture.
