ONE ARRESTED TUESDAY EVENING AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

  

One person was arrested Tuesday after a traffic stop by the Brenham police department.

At 8:20 PM Tuesday, Officers with the Brenham Police Department initiated a traffic stop near the 3000 block of Highway 290 East. Constable Brad Kuecker and his K9 were called in to conduct a free air sniff.  The K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics which resulted in a probable cause search.  An investigation was conducted and the rear passenger, Ricardo Williams, 26 of Spring, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and two active warrants out of Montgomery County (DWI with a Child Under 15 and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon).
