FAYETTE CO. OPRY RETURNS MONDAY WITH GOSPEL SHOW

The Fayette County Country Music Opry returns on Monday for its first show in over a year.

Monday’s performance at the La Grange KC Hall will be a gospel show featuring Wayne Beseda, D’Vine Testament and Bernard “Nap” Gabler.

Beseda was born in La Grange and raised in Ellinger, and plays and sings with the choir at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Plum every Sunday.

D’Vine Testament is a Christian music group who has performed together since 2011, playing music ranging from polkas and waltzes to classic country and rock.

Gabler began singing as a freshman for school functions at Bishop Forest in Schulenburg and has sat in with many local bands in the area and in Victoria, where he has lived since 1985.

Doors to the KC Hall open at 5:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $7 at the door.  Hamburgers and drinks will be available.
