ONE PERSON ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP THURSDAY EVENING

Brenham Police arrested one person Thursday evening after a traffic stop. At 8:20 PM, Corporal Eddie Martinez conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Highway 290 East due to an equipment violation. Upon further investigation, Jose Ignacio Meza-Aguirre, 30 of Brenham, was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unauthorized Use of a Temporary License Tag.
