Three firefighters have joined the ranks of the Meyersville Volunteer Fire Department.
J. Andrew Venables, Matthew Metzger and Jacob Tieman were honored Thursday at a dinner and graduation ceremony at Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant.
The three were recognized for successful completion of the Brenham Fire Academy.
Members of the Meyersville Volunteer Fire Department, Brenham Fire Department, Washington County Commissioner Don Koester and friends and family celebrated the accomplishments of the firefighters.
