EARLY VOTING UNDERWAY FOR CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT ELECTION, BURTON ISD BOND ELECTION
Early voting has begun for the constitutional amendment election and the Burton ISD bond election.
According to Washington County Election Administrator Carol Jackson, 81 voters cast ballots in the constitutional amendment election on Monday. The last constitutional amendment election in 2019 had 80 voters on the first day of early voting.
Meanwhile, there were 35 early voters on Monday for the Burton ISD bond election.
Early voting is being held at the Washington County Courthouse Annex for the constitutional amendment election. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through this Friday and from next Wednesday through Friday, with extended hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. next Monday and Tuesday.
Voters in the Burton bond election can go to the Burton High School auditorium from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today (Tuesday) through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Early voting next week will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 25th, 27th and 29th, and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the 26th and 28th.
