BRENHAM CUB BAND COMPETES AT UIL AREA MARCHING CONTEST
The Brenham Cub Band turned in a strong performance at the UIL area marching contest on Saturday at Legacy Field in Katy.
The Cub Band earned fifth place in preliminaries out of 18 teams at the contest, which earned a spot in the finals Saturday evening.
Out of seven teams in the finals, the band placed sixth.
Band Director Eric Rettig said while the band did not win a bid to the state contest, he and the band are proud of all of its performances during this marching season.
