WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO CONSIDER PURCHASING AMBULANCE MODULE

  

Washington County Commissioners will potentially approve the purchase of an ambulance module using American Rescue Plan Act funds at their meeting Tuesday.

If approved, the 2021 Frazer Type 1 14’ module would be purchased through the Houston-Galveston Area Council.  The estimated purchase price, according to the agenda packet, is $224,798.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting, commissioners will consider two agreements pertaining to Washington County school land in Tom Green County.  The court will take up a surface agreement and easement for an electric substation on the land, as well as an easement agreement for access.

The court also plans to meet in executive session to discuss the county’s agreement with REACH Air Medical Services.

Commissioners will also:

• Hear a presentation from the Texas Extension Education Association.
• Consider a resolution regarding Pecan Glen’s portion of the appraisal district budget.
• Consider a resolution to adopt procurement policies and procedures that are 2 CFR 200 compliant.
• Act on a resolution of the court casting votes for election of the Washington County Appraisal District Board of Directors.
• Consider two additional appointments to the Homeland Security Advisory Council.

Commissioners will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
