BRENHAM CITY SECRETARY RE-ELECTED AS TMCA TRUSTEE

Brenham City Secretary Jeana Bellinger has been re-elected as a trustee of the Texas Municipal Clerks Association (TMCA), Inc.

Bellinger was elected to a second term at the TMCA’s annual business meeting in Galveston on October 28th.  She was first elected in October 2020.

As a trustee, Bellinger is tasked with accomplishing the goals and objectives of the TMCA, which seeks to educate and motivate city clerks and city secretaries in Texas to become leaders in their fields.

Interim City Manager Carolyn Miller thanked Bellinger for her “leadership, time and commitment to the City of Brenham and the Texas Municipal Clerks Association,” adding that she “has a true public servant’s heart.”

The TMCA is a statewide association with over 1,100 members.  It operates the Texas Municipal Clerks Certification Program located at the University of North Texas in Denton.
