TRAIN DERAILMENT IN GRIMES CO. SPILLS BEANS
Several train cars derailed this (Friday) morning in Grimes County, spilling beans.
The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office says three rail cars hauling beans derailed around 7 a.m. east of the railroad crossing on County Road 416, southeast of Navasota.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
The sheriff’s office says cleanup will take several hours, and expects it will be later into the evening before the rail cars are moved and the crossing is reopened.
