TWO PEOPLE PLED GUILTY IN DISTRICT COURT
Two people pled guilty and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett in District Court.
On Friday, Arif Abdul Ghani, 62 of Brenham, was sentenced to 4 years deferred adjudication probation for Injury to a Child. He was also ordered to pay a $750 fine, perform 120 hours of community service, and have no contact with the victim in the case.
On Monday, Christopher Louis Meier, 33 of Brenham, was sentenced to 8 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
