THANKSGIVING SERVICE NOV. 21 AT CANNERY KITCHEN

  

The Washington County Ministerial Association (WCMA) will continues over six decades of Thanksgiving tradition with a community-wide worship service.

The program will be held Sunday, November 21st at 6 p.m. at the Cannery Kitchen in Brenham.

The theme for the service is “Celebrating God, Country and Culture”.  Veterans and first responders will be honored, and special patriotic songs and hymns will be provided by local ministers of music.

Slated to perform are Tamesha Pruett-Ray of New Beginning Missionary Baptist Church, Arthur Curry of Mt. Rose Missionary Baptist Church, saxophonist Christina Williams-Woodard, and the Chappell Hill Bible Fellowship Worship Band.

Reverend Johnnie Williams, who has been the pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in the Quarry community for 59 years, will deliver the Thanksgiving message.
